Facilitation of online payments: A commendable initiative by the OPGI of Tizi-Ouzou.
The Office of Promotion and Real Estate Management (OPGI) of Tizi-Ouzou has recently launched an initiative that will greatly simplify the task of tenants by allowing them to pay their rents online via the 'Sakani' digital platform or its mobile application. Thanks to this innovation, tenants can now make their payments remotely using the 'Gold' card or the CIB bank card, which represents a significant advancement in the digitization of public services.
To facilitate access to this service, the OPGI of Tizi-Ouzou will begin distributing access codes and usernames directly to tenants through home visits. This initiative deserves to be praised as it offers citizens a convenient and secure option to manage their rental obligations without having to travel.
We hope that other public services, such as ADE (Algerian Water Company), will follow this example by adopting similar solutions to allow citizens to pay their water bills or rent via digital platforms and bank cards like the 'Dahabia' card. Such a measure would further facilitate the lives of citizens and strengthen the use of digitization in public services.
